Design CAD
The realization of a fabric begins with the preparation: the design process begins with research into the newest trends in patterns, textures, colors and yarns.
Our ability to perceive future trends comes from travelling the world, meeting specific customer requests and several kinds of other informative material.
If we’re working on a jacquard fabric, we start with a sketch, and we have to take into account the desired effects and the density of warps and wefts. Once the sketch has been finalised, each color is connected with a corresponding weave through the CAD program.
At this stage it is now possible to see how the fabric will look in an area of the program designated for simulations.
The CAD generates a file with a progressive code that is transmitted to the loom via the network.
