“TEXTILE SUSTAINABILITY IS A CONDITION OF A DEVELOPMENT MODEL WHERE THE NEEDS OF THE PRESENT GENERATION ARE MET WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE POSSIBILITY OF FUTURE GENERATIONS TO MEET THEIR OWNS”
Our mission Textile sustainability
Given the wideness of this concept, we decided to adhere to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development, established by the U.N. as a strategy to achieve a better and more sustainable future for everybody.
We have always given a particular importance to all aspects of poverty. This is why we support non-profit organizations operating both at local and international level.
“Inside of our small reality, intended as microcosm made of people, processes and machines, we have implemented a series of internal policies aimed at improving our sustainability. We strongly believe that it is always possible to make a choice and that each of our actions, even the smallest, has an impact on what surrounds us…”
The most important pillar of our company are people. Respect, equality and justice are our fundamental values.
This strong belief explains the attention we put to security aspects on the workplace, to the accuracy of the work we do inside of the company and to treating the employees fairly.
With textile sustainability, we support innovation. All our machines have been replaced recently and are equipped with last-generation engines.
This ensures the highest levels of security for the employees of the production department, in addition to allowing energy conservation and shorter production lead times.
For several years now, we have decided
to use solar energy. Our company
installed a solar power system
that now covers more or less
35% of our energy requirements.
Our plans to enlarge it, will allow
us to reach the goal of becoming
We are very keen on waste disposal and we give
particular attention to recycling. The packaging of
outgoing goods is made with recycled plastic,
and thanks to our new packaging machine,
no additional metallic or plastic tools are used
for packaging. The packaging of in-going goods
is reused and textile waste is given to companies
to be reused as padding.
The textile hub where we are based offers a
wide range of satellite companies and activities
(yarn suppliers, spinners, dyeing mills, finishing
mills, etc…) with a big experience, all located within
few km from us. This local supply chain allows
big savings in terms of emissions and fuels.
In addition to that, many steps of our
production are performed in-house.
This is a very important aspect that directly impacts on
people’s health and on the environment. All our fabrics
are REACH compliant (Registration, Evaluation,
Authorization and Restriction of Chemical)
and they also comply to our internal
environmental regulation “Ethical Trust”,
a series of very strict and severe
rules tailored to our production.
